HE PLAYED ME LIKE A FIDDLE

Great job, mate.

I think this is an awesome representation of Bender! Sure, there are a couple things that aren't accurate as he is depicted in the show, but in this case, I think its okay. With the materials you had access to you utilized them very well I think.

Maybe in the future, if you're able you could revisit Bender and make another sculpture of him with more accurate parts or fix this one but I think you should leave it alone to be honest. Has a certain...charm to it.

I think we should try to get this shown to Matt Groening himself! Does he have a twitter?!

Silverbullit responds:

Hi FGIJonC,
Thanks for that incredibly kind response. Yes I think you have understood the dilemma of only having access to build outta junk very well. Your awareness makes me wonder if you do you this kind of sculpting professionally? And yes I would really much like to finish Bender and also there is a lot of other stuff I would like to interprete in to real life from steel and other materials. I can promise you this, I will really really try to do a much better job. I can't beleive how nice you all are being about Bender and the undescribable kind and massive support you are giving. I think everybody here is pretty much awesome and I understand how this is a place where artists thrive.
Ha ha mate, if we showed this to Matt Groening himself he would prolly smack me on the head, haha.
But thanks for even thinking of that, awesome comment FGIJonC! :)

Am playing Majora's Mask for the first time with the 3DS version and its quite marvelous. I'm glad I can truly appreciate your work since I have played it.

You should totally do the others(though I have just gotten the Goron mask).

I like the "kid-like" look to it. Is that a style you always do, or did you do that because the Deku Shrub looks like a little child? If not, it'd be cool to have say, the Goron Link (if you decide to do it) be a different art style since he's more brutish, etc.

Butzbo responds:

Woah, well I originally chose Deku-Link as a favourite from the bunch which may be a bit closer to what I normally draw; also it's such a mysterious version of Link you are forced to begin the game with, I think it really captures the whole slightly unsettling mood of the game.

Although now that you mention it, all masked transformations of Link have interesting stories and designs, I may make some more of these for practice :)

I like even though they're called "sentinels", they resemble one another, but they aren't just copy and pastings. They have their own muscle definition, facial features that render them unique of each other even if its subtle since they're all the same color and have purple eyes and what-have-you.

Was that intentional? Just curious.

Keep it up.

Waveloop responds:

yeah.. actually that was one of my goals with this one. I wanted them to look almost mass produced. But still maintain a subtle level of individuality. Like they have different personalities. Really cool of you to noticed it. :)

That looks like a green check conure if I say so myself. I used to have one, whom I miss terribly to this day.

+5 to you for inducing my sorrow. Please treat him or her well. They're sometimes difficult. Hopefully you got yours young enough where he /she can be hand tamed and not have mental problems(like mine lol).

Good art as well, mate . ;)

ThePivotsXXD responds:

It is a green cheek! We got her when she was only 5 months old and her eyeballs were huge compared to her little body hahaa. I've had her for almost 2 years now. When we got her the store thought she was a boy and named her Jim, but we later found out she was a girl but kept the name. I love her to death.

Awesome work. I recognized Sam & Max instantly (since its my fav), I also recognize, the two from Journeys of Reemus. I feel compelled to check out some of these others now, because I love point and clicks as well.

I'll also check out your channel because I guess why not.

TinyStuffz responds:

Thank you! Glad to hear that you are going to check the other games out :) They are all great fun!

Pratice makes perfect pal. I'm sure if she were to see this she would like the fact you took time to draw her and it wasn't some wacky creation(like with tentacles).

What's cool is that I'm from Louisvlle just like her! Too bad I don't know her. I wonder if her ex-boyfriends have tried to get back with her since she's famous now?

Anyway, keep it up!

RidOff responds:

Thanks!

Awesome work. She's also from where I live. Don't know her in person though lol.

Great work.

AtTheSpeedOf responds:

Thanks!

Great work.

Don't know if it was your intention but I like how the trees being bent drawing the focus toward the center toward the wolf(at least to me), especially since the wolf isn't exactly in the center(well, his head is but the rest of his body to the right of the center).

Anyway, can't wait to see more from you.

Cantwister responds:

I cant say it was actually, but you got a good point now that i think of it :) . And thanks! :D my painting style is very very mixed since im still exsperimenting with tools to see what i might like the most, Chalk brushes are on my top list tho :)
