Ah, my bad about the life count. That's some impressive devotion there. :) I assumed it was Super Mario World btw, but maybe you've been playing other Mario games too? About the games you play: are you into old FPSs like Doom?

Its fine man, no big deal. I've thought about just kiling myself 4 times in a row at the beginning of the game so I have one life left, but meh im not that worried about it. I just find it interesting to play that way. I'm really familiar with it so to make it 'new' again, is cool. I've not played the other Mario games on stream, I'm pretty sure.
Yeah I like old FPS' like Doom. I've never beat the game, I know that, but i would be up to play it. Maybe I should play it on Stream since its October! If I had a powerful enough PC and some cash I would play the new Doom on stream. I played teh demo and i liked it.

Ah, let me know if you do, could be fun to watch that. I'm honestly not really that into lets-play-type streams, feels like playing a game would be a better use of time than watching someone else play, but that title might be an exception. :) Still haven't tried the new version, but I'm looking forward to that to. If you're looking for a good port for the ol btw, I'd recommend GZDoom (for simplicity; subtle improvements whilst staying true to the classic), or Risen3D (for much more).

I'll definitely do so! I get what you mean about playing the game yourself instead of watching someone, but think about sports, lots of people watch it and don't play it, right? So in that context, whats the difference? but also, I feel that streaming is more than just the game, its about the streamer, the game, and the chat as well, it makes it all a cool experience, or can at least. Granted, I don't have a bunch of viewers so its a bit dead, but the few streams I watch, its typically all of those things that make it cool, especially when the streamer is cool and not a complete jerk and stuff. But i do understand that sometimes you'd rather just play the game.

That's true, though I don't really watch sports either. ;) But I get what you mean, and I think I could be entertained by both, but usually it just doesn't feel like a very useful passtime, you know? Watching someone else play makes me want to play; to be more active. It's like watching someone eat - you want to join in on the meal. Though I guess with chat it'd be a bit more engaging! And maybe just certain games, who knows. :)

Ha, one could argue how any past time is useful! Whether its video games, art, sports, exercising, etc, especially if you want to bring up our own mortality! But I get you, sometimes i watch a game and I want to play it. I watch fighting games streams a lot and it makes me want to play them(which i eventually will). Sports, i never want to be more active, haha. Same with food, but thats maybe becuse i cant taste most of what I eat, which sucks sometimes.
Could you really argue exercise isn't useful?! XD Oh, something with your taste buds? Sorry to hear. Food's one of my biggest pleasures, though a bit less food would = better shape. Might be useful being immune to such temptations. :)

Which life you talking about? lol, everytime I die i always start over. If you mean my life count, the game starts you with 5 by default and its near impossible to not get an extra life eventually.
